ABA treatment with an emphasis on the Verbal Behavior treatment model.

Consultation consists of parent interviews, assessment and direct observation.  The information gathered from this meeting will be compiled into a comprehensive behavior plan designed to address behavior acquisition and behavior reduction goals.  The program goals will be discussed in detail at the parent/team training.

Caregiver Training

Consistency is key to the success of an ABA program. To ensure that treatment is as effective as possible, caregiver/team trainings will be conducted at the onset of therapy and on a consistent basis throughout the time period that services are provided.

Intervention is tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. Behavior acquisition and reduction goals are chosen based on assessment results, parent interviews and direct observation of the client. All programming decisions are made based on data and empirical evidence demonstrating efficacy of the procedures chosen. While ABA is a science and is data driven, ELBS also recognizes the need to build strong rapport with the children we service. Strong efforts are made to build relationships through the use of what is enjoyable to each child.

IEP Meetings

Attendance at IEP meetings is also available.  A copy of the IEP is needed 48 hours prior to the meeting.  IEP goals are typically included in ABA programming as well.

BCBA/BCaBA/RBT Supervision

Supervision to fulfill the requirement through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board is now available.  Applicants are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.  Remote supervision for applicants outside of the Kansas City Metro area is also available.  Please visit for more information.
